Preference Marketing Pte Ltd commenced business in 1989. In our first year of operation, we produced the innovative "two-part snap-in crack inducer" jointing product for use in airport taxiways. We secured the Brunei Military Airport project in the same year.

In 1990, we put all our resources into door control products and since then have been constantly developing new products in the glazing industry. To this day, P&M brand of glass fittings, shower hinges, door handles and closers has gained considerable reputation for its quality both in Singapore and overseas.

In 1992, Preference Marketing Pte Ltd ventured into manufacturing of high-quality adjustable window louvres. These have all been certified to meet the relevant building standards in their respective markets.

In 2002, in line with our expansion into manufacturing and to further exploit the potentials of various Free Trade Agreements, we formed Preference Manufacturing Pte Ltd to take on the louvre manufacturing operation. In the same year (2002), to meet the great demand of our louvre products in the Australia market, we set up Preference Manufacturing (Aust) Pty Ltd in Australia to manufacture our louvres under the brand fresAir™. To date, we have the widest range of louvres available, namely the 152mm, 130mm and 102mm, with each range designed to receive either glass or timber blades. fresAir™ louvres are now being specified and used extensively both in Singapore and Australia.
